While sleeping in the car overnight at the hilltop, Rachel was bitten by something and we awoke at 4am to find her lower lip swollen to double its size. Luckily it didn't get any worse and we were able to start the hike. Unfortunatley for her, she started it with a Benadryl haze.

Return of the Green and Blue | Havasu Falls, AZ
We experienced severe thunderstorms during both nights we camped at Havasu Falls. Camped on the "high ground," we huddled in our 2 person backpacking tent with all our gear. New waterfalls emerged on both sides of the canyon wall from the runoff. Hail pelted the tent. The water turned from the usual bright green / blue to a muddy brown. This shot was taken at sunrise on the hike out. The water was just starting to turn blue again.
